Introducing AeroCloud V7
AeroCloud V7 brings internal improvements for more accurate and reliable simulations.
Version update
Today we are proud to announce the new version of AeroCloud: V7.
In this release we made several internal improvements, to make your simulations better and more accurate.
These are the most notable updates:

Porous media
It is now possible to define geometries as porous media in AeroCloud. Select any part of the model that is porous and specify the pressure drop coefficients. The porous geometries are modeled as an additional isotropic pressure drop in the simulation, contributing to the total forces on the model.
This feature allows, for instance, the flow through heat exchangers to be modeled, without fully resolving the detailed geometry in the simulation.
Version 6
You can access your V6 simulations using the version switcher in the left navbar.
AeroCloud V6 will be supported until May 31st, 2025. After that you won’t be able to create V6 simulations anymore.
