NablaFlow tests and expands its abilities
In a collaborative research project with the University of Bologna, NablaFlow tested the feasibility of implementing transient CFD simulations using Detached Eddy Simulation (DES) within AeroCloud. Despite using a coarse 5M cell mesh, results aligned closely with DES SST benchmarks from AutoCFD, validating AeroCloud’s numerical approach. While underestimations in drag and pressure fields remain due to cell count, this study confirms that AeroCloud’s simulation setup is ready for high-fidelity CFD applications—paving the way for industrial-grade transient simulations.
